COMMUNITY
We invest. Into places, into people and into modern industries that are the future of the UK economy.
Our Mission
The TIME + SPACE goal is simple: to grow a portfolio of world-class creative campuses to make better places and bring about social and economic benefits to support local communities and enhance the environment. Always with a focus on innovation and the workflows, technologies and jobs of the future that are needed to respond to the growth of the creative industries.
Our Commitment
TIME + SPACE works extensively with local groups and organisations, often key stakeholders in mixed-use property developments, before, during and after planning permission is granted. We are committed to grassroots engagement in all our projects including (where applicable) delivering on pre-agreed utilisation thresholds with local authorities to guarantee access to local groups, with discounted tariffs and ensuring these are free at point of entry.
Our Initiatives
TIME + SPACE believes passionately in promoting skills, training and enterprise opportunities in ways that harness potential and aid creative entrepreneurship. We work closely with local universities and colleges to provide tangible, real-life experience which is designed to foster the next generation of industry practitioners.
We support several grassroots community initiatives, including being premier sponsor to KIFF (Kingston International Film Festival) for the last two years, supporting new and emerging independent filmmakers in the borough as well as generally raising the profile of this issue facing the U.K film industry.
“Hornsey Sounds'', plays on the glorious music heritage of Hornsey Town Hall. This pilot apprenticeship programme will be launched in partnership with the Far East Consortium (FEC) employing a local person from an underrepresented background in the borough with bespoke training who will continue to become a key member of the Town Hall team when the building begins phased re-opening in 2024.
