The Custard Factory in Birmingham represents an exemplar of urban regeneration; the once abandoned Birds Custard Factory has been transformed into workspace for over 400 individual businesses, the single largest cluster of tech, digital and creative SMEs outside of London.

TIME + SPACE devised a brand new estate masterplan to further develop the 16 acre estate, including 750,000 square feet of operational buildings, into a world-class work, live, play destination which would reinforce its reputation as being the home of the creative industries in the Midlands.
